The festival competition was on 21st March for our young thesps, at Studio Theatre in Salisbury. All the hard work put in in the weeks leading up to the day really did pay off!

Both groups performed well on a stage that was unfamiliar to them. Unfortunately our groups were competing gainst each other which was a slight oversight. Rob felt he should have written for different categories.

The groups didn't have to be prompted. The judging was tough and it's hard to hear someone critically analysing your stuff. Negative points came as a bit of a shock to all. That's how it is though. However, he was touched by some of the moments in the performance from  the aptly named Anno Paulino Collective with their piece 'Damascus Ceasefire' and amused by some moments from 'Eclypse' and 'Boy Who?' Having said that he found it difficult to pick a winner and chose the Anno Paulino Collective as first place and Eclypse Youth Group as second.
